The Role

 

You'll be a centre of competence and a champion for the growth and success of the Customer Service Operation through effective and efficient performance planning, data capture, management and reporting by:

  • Developing and maintaining of an effective Service planning and forecasting model.
  • Identifying performance variances and provide recommendations to enable the Service Operation to meet business, operational, financial, and strategic targets.
  • Contributing to improvement of the integrity of Service accounting and data systems.
  • Developing strong analytical and reporting capabilities supporting effective business decision making

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Planning and Analysis

  • Develop Service plans and targets to achieve the long term strategic goals of the company.
  • Analyse Service data, systems and performance reports for integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Monitor the accuracy and completeness of revenue and cost postings to the Service accounts.
  • Monitor service profit and margin, plan and identify positive and negative trends and risks and opportunities.
  • Make recommendations based on performance and trend analysis.

 

Reporting & General Support

  • Comprehensive analysis of performance and cost data.
  • Liaise with key stake holders on a regular basis to identify reporting requirements.
  • Ensure data integrity with all reports, create and maintain reports for performance review.
  • Ensure the timely reporting of accurate information from a financial and operational perspective both within FXNZ and externally to APO.
  • Effectively communicate results of analysis to key stakeholders and provide recommendations.

About You

 

  • 5+ years' commercial experience in business analysis (financial and operational), data systems, business analysis / variance reporting
  • Advanced MS Excel spread-sheeting, strong BI, SQL/ Data-warehousing experience
  • Tertiary qualification in IT or Finance
  • Attention to detail, accurate and advanced analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle pressure, work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
