Production Customer Service Engineer

The Role

We are looking for an exceptional Production Customer Service Engineer, to provide a quality product and service to internal and external customers, with skills from fault finding to performing maintenance on the Fuji Xerox and Xerox range of production printers and photocopiers.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Install, connect, maintain, repair, modify, re-site, and remove equipment and accessories as required.
  • Respond to allocated calls and resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Perform service as agreed and consult with the customer at the completion of the call to ensure service requirements have been achieved.
  • Will be required to obtain Electrical Practising Licence.
  • Act as subject matter expert for Fuji Xerox machines and Customer Support to ensure optimal performance and highest standards of support.

 

Successful Candidate

  • At least 3 years' experience with Fuji Xerox and Xerox Production products or in a related industry.
  • Experience with Fuji Xerox Versant and Chamonix a plus including:
    • V80
    • V2100
    • V180
    • V3100
    • C1000/i
    • C800
  • In-depth specialised knowledge of xerographic technology.
  • Ability to work independently and self-direct workload based on organizational priorities and objectives.
  • Experience in following block circuit diagrams for accurate and cost effective fault finding.
  • Ability to diagnose print file problems.
  • Expert in colour management and diagnosis.
  • Logic reasoning, good independent judgment, and the ability to self-manage.
  • In depth knowledge of Fiery and FreeFlow raster image processor's.
  • Excellent logical fault finding and diagnosis.
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • High level of self-motivation and personal management.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
