Service Delivery Manager

The Role

We are looking for a self-driven and motivated individual to manage all service delivery requirements to a high level of customer satisfaction.  This will involve ongoing work associated with business change projects, ongoing integrity of the overall service delivered to our customers and liaising with the customer's operational management.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensuring the delivery of managed services to assigned customers meets and exceeds agreed service levels
  • Management of escalated critical problems and taking action where necessary
  • Planning resource deployment to meet the needs of customer commitments
  • Consistent review of service delivery to customers and recommending improvements where necessary
  • Managing projects within scope and budget
  • Ensuring customer support and satisfaction is practised to a high level
  • Pro-actively working with other parts of the business to ensure customer satisfaction and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ensuring service level reports are relevant, accurate and produced on time
  • Managing financial and performance based obligations

Successful Candidate

  • Service delivery and service level management experience
  • Expertise in providing managed services and/or managing multiple projects
  • People management, communication, negotiation and time management skills
  • Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers
  • Self-driven, motivated thinks 'outside the box'
  • Embraces best practice and methodologies (ITIL certified desirable)
  • Committed to continuous improvement (Green belt or more with Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies exposure)
  • Ability to get first-hand information from customers with strive for improvement on products and services in mind
  • Tertiary qualification in relevant field is desirable
