The Role

The position of Business Development Manager is responsible for marketing and sourcing relationships with clients and key decision makers to develop Auckland business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

  • Generation of leads and prospective customers
  • Meeting targets for securing new and retaining existing business
  • Developing strong relationships with existing clients

Successful Candidate

  • 5-8 years of sales experience, ideally in a similar position
  • Previous business to business sales experience desirable
  • Knows the sales cycle; cold calling, negotiation, closing
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Creativity and a flair for innovation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of essential mail and direct marketing would be advantageous
